Dan Diedriech is a born storyteller. As a television anchor and news director, Dan was a trusted source of news and heartwarming features that touched the lives of his many viewers.
As a groundbreaking videographer, Dan was the first to document the sulfur-based life forms discovered in a Mexican Cave which were later featured on the acclaimed BBC series, Planet Earth.
Dan's awards and recognition include the fields of video production, voice over talent, public relations, and feature writing.
Today, Dan shines his talents on the world of children's books through his first publication, Katy the Caterfly.
Through Katy, Flicker the Firefly, Silky the Spider, and their friends, Dan weaves a story of courage, hope and kindness that will captivate children's imaginations.
Dan lives in Maryland where he is involved in numerous community projects helping others by focusing on the "us" and not just "me."
